Anybody have a cure for Molluscum? My 4 year old has had it for TWO YEARS! And now my 2 year old has itπ€¦π»ββοΈ I took him to the dr and she said it will go away on its own.
@elenalee, I'm not 100% sure exactly what they did. The process at the dermatologist wasn't painful but when they got baths that night it was a little painful ( I think the water hitting the open skin)
@elenalee, yes I feel ya. Be prepared to go to the dermatologist more than once though. They always seem to miss one which makes it spread again. But on the plus side neither one of my kids have had it in about 2 years
@faithhopelove, they arenβt in school and yes it is contagious! My babies got it from their cousin π‘. The internet said to not let them touch anything and to keep them home until it clears up.... ummm, theyβre toddlers and my oldest has had it 2 years already! Thatβs just not possible. π
@elenalee, molluscum is SO contagious. If your child goes to school I highly recommend getting them removed. My older son got his from our ne t door neighbors kid and I was not happy lol
@elenalee, they put something on it and covered it with a bandage for a few hours. Yes it worked but I had to go multiple times because the kids kept giving it back and forth
@taylorsmommy1017, Iβve read that... that is forever!!! I was ok waiting with my 4 year old because the bumps are under his arm, but my 2 year old is getting them on his neck and it looks like it is going towards his face and I dont want him to have scars on his face if itβs avoidable. π
