Anybody have a cure for Molluscum? My 4 year old has had it for TWO YEARS! And now my 2 year old has it🤦🏻♀️ I took him to the dr and she said it will go away on its own.
@faithhopelove, it’s good to hear that there is something that works for it... was it painful? Did they freeze them off?
@elenalee, yes I feel ya. Be prepared to go to the dermatologist more than once though. They always seem to miss one which makes it spread again. But on the plus side neither one of my kids have had it in about 2 years
@faithhopelove, they aren’t in school and yes it is contagious! My babies got it from their cousin 😡. The internet said to not let them touch anything and to keep them home until it clears up.... ummm, they’re toddlers and my oldest has had it 2 years already! That’s just not possible. 😞
@elenalee, molluscum is SO contagious. If your child goes to school I highly recommend getting them removed. My older son got his from our ne t door neighbors kid and I was not happy lol
@elenalee, they put something on it and covered it with a bandage for a few hours. Yes it worked but I had to go multiple times because the kids kept giving it back and forth
@faithhopelove, what kind of treatment did they give them and did it work?
My kids had it and I had to take them to the dermatologist and have them treated there.
@taylorsmommy1017, I’ve read that... that is forever!!! I was ok waiting with my 4 year old because the bumps are under his arm, but my 2 year old is getting them on his neck and it looks like it is going towards his face and I dont want him to have scars on his face if it’s avoidable. 😔
@elenalee, I'm not 100% sure exactly what they did. The process at the dermatologist wasn't painful but when they got baths that night it was a little painful ( I think the water hitting the open skin)
