Size 3 sounds like too big of a size for him. My 2 year old is 27 pounds in size 4. Are you sure youre checking your diaper weight charts properly??

@vvrobinson, yes he’s a size 3 my 2 year old is a size 6 so it’s normal

@dj-du oh.. ive never seen size 3 diapers that were for 13 pound kiddos. Id think they were too big. Since diapers are pricey and you pay for less and less diapers as the numbers go up i was going to say check the weight charts. You might save yourself some money, get more diapers per box and they might fit nicer 😊

@vvrobinson, I don’t get brand diapers I get aldi diapers so those do run a bit small but also they fit him tight from his fat areas that’s why I get them big because a size 2 cuts into his thighs from the elastic

@dj-du oh i see! I was going to say you could totally save yourself some money and get more diapers. My 2 year old is still stuck in size 4 and were potty training so i think she will end up stopping there lol i hate paying for diapers

@vvrobinson, lol my 2 year old wears size 6 and he is starting to fit right on them so idk what to do from there since he doesn’t want to potty train and they don’t make size 7 diapers

@dj-du let him run around naked? My toddler prefers that in the backyard lol nudist child 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ i think the pull ups go higher in size cause theyre meant for potty training toddlers

@vvrobinson, I’ve done that and then he sits on my carpet and pees 😣 it’s hard lol I’ve tried pull ups but since he doesn’t want to go to the potty then they can’t hold everything he does in them sadly

My son is 15 lbs and still wears size 2 diapers. We have size 3 ready to go but he seems fine in size 2 still. I think it depends more on the chunkiness of thighs rather than body weight.
