I went back to the emergency room because I was having trouble breathing after I got out of the hospital I took a nap and woke up and it was just worse. I went in they poked me whatever bla bla bla, got a chest X-ray, they were absolutely horrible to me. Never checked up on me the lady taking my X-rays was awful and rude. The guy wheeling me to my room didn’t put my bed the right way and he broke the machine putting it together, he didn’t set my help button up, we told him the bed wasn’t like this it was the other way and he said “well see ya” and walked out. Oh and he left the door like wide open, So I had to get up as I am having trouble breathing and shut it myself. They checked on me a total of 3 times out of me being there for 4 and a half hours. It’s ridiculous I was sitting there thirsty af and couldn’t get water because my help button wasn’t by me and they weren’t checking on me. I’m highly pissed off rn😡 so when they finally check up on me they were mad the kid did that, they were getting ready to discharge me and they told me that it’s just because I’m under a lot of stress and I really need to relax after this long day.

I’ve had X-rays before for my elbow and they didn’t allow her to go back just simply because there is no room.
Midland Michigan hospital I was at. She was there with me they just didn’t allow her back there when I was getting an X-ray they never allow anyone else back there. There isn’t enough room.
You’re only 16 so I’m assuming your mom was there with you? Why wasn’t she advocating for you or helping you?
@abbi_thomas13 @mommamia18 @spookylyn so if she was having trouble breathing, x-rays are fine. The risks of an x-ray out weigh the risks of dying from a possible blood clot in the lung. When I was 36 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby I had to have an x-ray and a cat scan to check for a blood clot. The way the doctor described it is as long as you haven't had one recently, one your entire pregnancy isn't going to cause any damage. Definitely better than possibly dying.

Ok this whole post is weird when you where admitted did you not fill in the part that says are you pregnant? Two your a minor so your mom should have had to fill out a form stating it and gone with you to X-ray. And for trouble breathing your only there for observation because unless it is audible wheezing or your O2 stat are low there really is nothing for trouble breathing medically so of course your going to be there for 3-4 hours for monitoring. The X-ray tech gets orders from you nurse, I feel like from this post there was missing info. As why couldn’t your mom push the button for you.
I wouldn’t be going to that hospital to have a baby at all they are very unprofessional
I was with my mom but she didn’t go back with me.
I wish they took my up to the birth and delivery rooms again because they treated me much better up there. Those nurses we have up in ob taking care of the mothers and babies are great! They checked up on me every time. It took 3 hours to get an ultrasound but I heard my nurse talking to my ob doc and she was like “this is so ridiculous we have a girl in there bleeding and we can’t get her in right now for an ultrasound she’s been here for 3 hours and nobody is around to do it” they gave me snacks and waters and apple juices while I waited.
@abbi_thomas13, if anything happens to baby you can deff sue that hosptial it’s really not good to get X-rays while pregnant the doctor made that a big deal when I almost got one but if you had a vest on then maybe it helped I don’t know much about that stuff you by yourself?

@abbi_thomas13, omg you didn’t do the X-ray tho did you mama? They should have warning signs to not let a pregnant woman do that. There not good especially if that lady didn’t know how to act omg but it’s not safe at all for the baby and if she’s gonna work in a hospital she needs to learn how to treat patients wtf
I’m pregnant so I forget literally everything! I should remember these things but I don’t. That’s why they need to ask that like they’re supposed to and not be lazy.
@mommamia18, I’m really frustrated it’s 11:15pm I got treated horribly I wanted to cry in the X-ray room. The lady didn’t ask if I was pregnant I said it anyway because I read the sign and she said Oh you’re pregnant, i said yeah(thank god I told her) I said will getting an X-ray effect the baby and she said it should mostly protect it but not entirely I’ll give you a double lead vest tho, she gives me this huge ass thing that goes over my belly and it’s like falling off and she didn’t tighten it good, she put this lead thing behind me too. So she’s about to take the X-ray and she’s like do you have a bra on (doesn’t ask me right when I walk in the room) I said yeah and she said does it have a metal wire in it and I said uh yeah and she said it’s got to come off, so I took that off and I get ready. I forgot I had a necklace on she took the damn X-rays and I have my necklace on and she said do you have a necklace on and I said omg yes and she said it has to come off. Like no shit it has to come off but I’ve had X-rays before and you’re supposed to ask all that shit before you take their X-ray and right when they come in the room. You ask if they’re pregnant first then ask if they have any metal on them such as jewelry or a bra. She was so rude about everything to. She treated me like I was stupid and I was highly upset. Like this is your job if you don’t like it then work somewhere else.

So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. Why Are Many Women Unaware of Their Own Anatomy?
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.

Yeah I was very sketched on getting an X-ray. I’m going to be bringing it up on the 30th. They said it would protect the baby but the lady Doing my X-ray was awful she didn’t know what she was doing I don’t think. Maybe she was new like that kid was.
