So I've been contracting for a hour now but I've been timing them and they're all over. Like, some are 40 sec apart and some are 2 min apart. None are further than 4 min apart though. Could these still be BH?
@luv_2b_amomma yeah. I'm still getting them but they've gotten further apart. I don't think he's coming tonight
Sounds like a plan. Congrats and good luck if it's baby day ☺☺☺ update me if you want!!
@babymay2016 I'm gonna try drinking a bunch of water. If that doesn't help I'll call my midwife.
It sounds like real contractions to me. I would get my bag ready and go in, if water doesn't make it completely stop.
Well in my experience Braxton Hicks like last a long time but maybe that's just me.. Have you tried drinking a lot of water and it stops completely? Water should make Braxton Hicks go away. If it doesn't, it is probably real contractions. They don't always hurt
@babymay2016 okay. These last about 30-45 seconds. They're not unbearable like I remember my first pregnancy being.
My hospital says follow the 5-1-1 rule. 5 or less min apart, lasting 1min, for 1 hr
I been walking this week so hopefully Monday I've dilated some!
Kinda hard to time these but they arnt that painful but about 7 mins apart
I've started counting contractions for the last half n hour. They are 4 minutes apart lasting a min long but not very painful.
Can't sleep through the pain😭 phoned triage got to wait till pains are 3-4 mins apart, lasting 1 minute for an hour, already at 5 mins apart lasting 1 minute. Hopefully not long before I can go in! Just can't believe it's actually happening! Surprised myself with how well I'm coping, I haven't cried yet and I've not used one single curse word😂
@mamakatey, I hope it calms down for you . I agree it will very unbearable if he was coming tonight .
