Okay, rant time. So every single time I show someone a picture of my daughter in her basketball shorts and no shirt (it's hot in our apartment) The response I get is "She looks like a boy!" Or "Why is she wearing boy clothes??" Someone even went so far as to tell me she should wear a bow/headband if she's gonna wear those shorts so she looks like a girl. She only dresses like this at home.. and her dad and I KNOW she's a girl!
I buy half of my daughter's clothes from the "boy" section anyways. Why can't she like animals and trucks and monsters? It's just so frustrating when people are pushing their own ideals on MY child, without even asking if I agree with them. Ugh. /end rant.

My husband and I get the same thing all the time. Some days my daughter wears a dress, other days she wears a t-shirt and shorts. She's comfortable that way. Bows and headbands make her miserable and uncomfortable so I don't bother with them. 🙄 People will always have something to say.
it is not even 8 am here and my SIL is already starting. she went through my clothes and get this she didn't take a short or sweater or pants nooooo she took a pair of my underwear!!! like my shit is clean but I think it is nasty to wear someone else's underwear . and when I said something she laughed and I snapped at her and because I have very little clothing that fits me now including underwear!!!!!
is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know

People assume she’s a boy Because she’s wearing boy shorts and she doesn’t have long hair yet. they have cute basketball shorts for girls to if you didn’t know 🙂
