When should I expect to have my very first ultrasound and when will I be able to hear the heartbeat? 5 weeks and 3 days today.

@jea0716th, I think it just depends on your doctor! My doctor likes to do them around 8 weeks give or take. It’ll probably be transvaginal and they’ll measure/date and listen to the heart. They also looked at my ovaries this time. I don’t remember if they did that last time or not.
@mom2squared I'm so excited! I've heard some ladies going in that early and getting one but I've heard others had to wait until 10 or so weeks!!
@jea0716th, I imagine they’ll do your US then and you will be able to hear a heartbeat! It’s the most amazing sound in the world! ❤️

I had irregular periods so I had a dating ultrasound and found out I was 6 weeks 4 days and we saw his heartbeat. I bought a Doppler on amazon and thought I heard his heartbeat at 9 weeks but I definitely heard it and got a video of it at 9 weeks 1 day!
@jea0716th I was 7weeks exactly when I went to my first obgyn appointment my son's heart💙rate was 179 beats per minute I'm currently 20weeks 4days now congrats sweetie😍😄

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

@jea0716th, yes ma’am! Top was my son at 8w1d and bottom is our current babe at 8w4d. Pretty sure I’m pregnant with a girl. Mama’s intuition. It’s pretty amazing. You can watch their heartbeat on the screen.
