So epidural mommas, is it true that you HAVE to have a catheter inserted?? 🙄🙄
@amysbabies, not TMI at all! That’s why I ask is to get the info! 🙂.
And @boymom_, Aww! That’s the good shit though, 😊 ❤️ lol..
@mortonmining, I only wanted two! But then I met Rob lol shit happens
I’m pretty sure you do! And it’s a good thing too, my bag was so full- I’m sure they changed it too😂. I would have been soaked otherwise, because they don’t let you up and you can’t really wear a diaper in labor. They pump you with fluids the whole time which creates lots of pee. I didn’t feel anything when they put it in or took it out or any after effects. I just remember when I was finally allowed to get up after birth and the catheter was out I went so much, like I couldn’t stop peeing, but it didn’t feel weird. Sorry if TMI.
Had one with my 1st not my 2nd. They put it in fast no pain and take it out after a few hours of birth, still no pain
@ksal9028, Thank you! I hope it’s smooth too! But even if not, it’s all worth it for baby, ☺️
@boymom_, your a trooper! Lol, idk if I can go through birth 3 times! I barely want 2 kids! 😅 and I heard epidurals make pregnancy last longer and makes the contractions harsher my sister in laws cousin was in labor for 36 hoursafter being induced and given the epidural!
And @jewel.jon.6715, that’s a cool labor story! what a rude nurse lady! I would have threatened to tear it out as well! 😅 But at least your labor was quick! 🙂
With my first i never got one. With my second i got one and i kept telling the nurse it was hurting me super bad. I finally called her in the last time and told her " if you dont take it out im gonna rip it out myself! It hurts!!" She told me "cant you wait 15 more mins till shift change and well see if the next nurse knows a way to make it kore comfy for you" and i said "no it already feels like i have to poop and this thing is hurting me really bad" she said ok well let me check how far you are. She put on her gloves opend my legs and said " oh my god hes coming" and she ran to the wall where she pushed this button and nurses with trays and stuff came running in and. Within 10 mintues my baby boy was here. His head was already showing when she opend my legs. They took my cath. Out after he was out. I didnt need stitches or anything either so that was great.
@mortonmining, yeah I always say less than 9hrs and the second was less than 6hrs.. and then my third I went from 1cm to he was born in les then 1.5hrs 😂 .. second n third no epidural though .. they say the epidural makes things move slow but it didn’t really for me I don’t think
@mommy.to.sterling, that’s a really long time! I’m not sure how many children you have but Was that with your first?
@ksal9028, Oh Nooo.. 😟. I didn’t mean to make you think about it, 😳
I’m sorry, doctors suck!! 😕.
@ksal9028, what! I’d be like wtf are you doing!!? Did they say why they did it??
@vvrobinson, that’s not cool! ☹️. I wonder if you could possibly ask them to take it out sooner if your capable of walking to get to the restroom.? 🤔
@mortonmining yeah cause they wait until it's been 24 hours and the anesthesia is out of your system
@vvrobinson, so you felt it coming out?! 🙄 eeeek. Lol.
@mommy.to.sterling, that’s how I’m hoping it happens, I don’t want to even notice.. lol..
and @boymom_, that’s like 10 hours of labor! That’s a fast labor?? 😱.
@mortonmining, oh yeah, my water broke at 3am, got to the hospital at 5am. Started pitocin @ about 8am, he was born @ 1:10 that afternoon.
@mortonmining you won't feel it once the epi is in. Just like the spinal. They do it after you're numb. Taking out is another story though. First time painless, second time was ehhh
@boymom_, was labor quick for you?
And @mommy.to.sterling, that’s what I was worried about is feeling the uncomfortableness afterwards, I heard they aren’t pleasant.. 😔
I had one both times but you don’t feel them Put it in or take it out. At least I didn’t
I had an epidural the first time around and I didn’t have a catheter.. which is weird I guess, I was up and walking right after too
Yes but I was so relieved after because I was so irritated having to unplug everything or call in a nurse whenever I had to go. I was all tangled up lol
OhMyGosh 🤭🤭 Thank you mommas. I just read it online so I wanted to make sure it was true.. 😓
Not sure but it makes sense.... unless they want your pee everywhere
Do we have to talk politics on here 🙄

There’s nothing wrong at all with having a gender reveal to find out or announce what you are having. 🙄
So I just announced our daughter's name on facebook & of course the friend I vented about on here before messaged me having an issue with it because she said she was going to use it as a middle name if she was going to ever have a girl 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄. First of all I spelled it completely different, second of all you were planning to use it as a middle name IF you had a girl which you're not, you're having a boy & third of all I had this name on my list for months lmao. Why is there ALWAYS an issue with t...
We have a racist on the APP ‼️
Labor was amazing for my first time I had such a different perspective especially for the catheter lol
