Why is rent so expensive .

I ask the same question. Lol my rent is 1150 for a two bedroom. I don’t get it

1600 here but for a house

My rent is 1300 for 3 bedroom

Because mortgages are so expensive and they’ve got to cover costs

Our apartment was $1750 for a two bedroom, and the quality of the place wasn't that great either. It's ridiculous. And they raised the rent every year too without doing anything to make it nicer. The pool and playground were okay, though.

Really?? I thought it was cheaper in North Carolina. I was considering moving there

Taxes, mortgage, overall going rates, people needing to use the buildings they own to make them money to make money meet ends... etc...

I feel you! I pay $1800 for a two bedroom house in New York. I live close to the city that’s why it’s so expensive. And everyone says $1800 for a 2 bedroom place and a house is a great deal in my area!! It’s insane! And it doesn’t include any utilities😩😩😩😩
