Ladies HELP!!! My daughter smashed her thumb about a month ago, and I've noticed that the nail is lifting..I worried that shes going to snag it somewhere and its going to hurt her!! Was wondering if I can take her to the pediatrician and maybe get it removed..any suggestions help

I took my oldest in when she smashed hers. They just told me to let it fall off and keep it clean.
She got an xray though because it caused her pain for 2 almost 3 weeks.

@shayybear I'm worried because it's only lifting one side and if she snags it or it gets caught somewhere I know it's going to be ugly..

@lezlie527 I kept it wrapped with a bandaid most of the day, especially at night for bed time.
Maybe that'd work?
