so my cervix is now 0.8-1.12 and I'm about to be 30 weeks in a couple days with twins the babies are perfectly fine it's just my cervix so do y'all think everything will be ok? how soon do y'all think I will have them?

Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?
Racial nickname I sometimes call my lo monkey. To me he looks like a little monkey. My so says it's racist and offensive. What do you think?

Locking your doors We are having a discussion on one of my birth boards from my older kids about locking doors and security alarms. There are many of us (me included) who do not lock our doors at home (I actually don't even have a deadbolt on my house and we don't lock it when we leave either), and others who think that's totally weird. So what do you do? Do you lock your doors? Do you think it's weird that people don't?

@jack.ass mines been shortening but isn't dilated and they haven't said anything about funneling the onky thing they are worried about is my cervix being short

@erikanbethune2, my MFM said she’s seen moms with .2 make it to term. It really depends on if your body decides to dilate also. Mine shortened with #2, but also funneled and I delivered within a day of finding out. My third, it shortened but didn’t funnel or dilate and then lengthened again! You’re over a huge hurdle where if you had them now they wouldn’t be micro preemies, but still not something you’d want Obviously. Don’t worry unless the doctor tells you to worry. Every day in is a victory.

@erikanbethune2, makena is a weekly shot to strengthen the cervix. But they start at 16 weeks. Are you a candidate for a pessary?
Any contractions or funneling?
I’d get prepared to have kiddos that may need NICU time. Set up a tour of the NICU if you can.
