Did anyone’s babys’ weight gain slow down from month 5 to 6? My LO only gained like 0.5 oz (not even half a pound!!). Grew 2 inches. He’s SUPER active and eating lots. Lots of crawling and jolly jumper and such so I don’t know if the activity slowed it down. I’m just so confused

@erikak, I’m 5’4. Dad is 5’11. However my husband’s side is tall. He’s actually the shortest lol. And my dad’s side is tall too. Like 6’1-6’4
Yes! Lots of breast milk and solids 3 times a day. He’s for sure doubled his birth weight.
But so glad it’s ok then. I’m blown away he grew 2 inches but gained very little lol
@its.a.bird, ok that makes me feel better haha I hate guidelines. It says it should’ve been 1-1.5 lbs 😳. He’s about 18.2 lbs and 28 inches tall and more than doubled his birth weight. A lot of people say he’s long and slim now
@carusod91 he might end up being tall then 😊 I dont know if there is a relationship between being a "tall" baby and being tall later in life, but there are definitely some babies that just seem to grow in length a lot more and faster than other babies.
