@takesma, my baby had it when she was born but it was never on her back. And her acne went away in 3 weeks when she was born and now idk if it’s acne or bites 😅
@amberjacq, thank you so much! This is my second baby and I still get upset and freak out every time they have a rash or bites cos I can never really know what it is! I don’t put lotion on her so it can’t be that. Iv been washing her with the same body wash since she was born so I don’t think it’s that either. And I have changed her food so it can be a food rash. So I’m left with ants/mosquito bites or heat rash 😅
Could be bites, heat rash, or from her lotion, or her soap, or another product that you use, just incase I would put her in the bath and not put any soap or anything on her and just wash her off with water, the bath can help if it’s bites because it’ll clean the area and help the bite to heal, and if it’s heat rash when you take her out of the tub the air will cool her off that’s what I’ve found to help with heat rash with my son, and my son loves the bath but if your baby doesn’t like baths then I’d suggest getting a cool wash cloth (not a cold one a cool one) and pat the area gently with the cool wash cloth, and then I wouldn’t put anything else on her like lotion until you figure out where this irritation is coming from, I had to do this with my son when he was 2 months he got a bad rash on him and it was a contact rash from his soap and lotion that I was using so I had to switch his soap and lotion. I hope this helps you I know it’s hard when your baby gets a rash I always get extremely upset when my son gets one. 💙
Sometimes it would last a couple days..... Mine have always sweat at night...... Some went away by the afternoon some times a couple days@njgriffin
@scidg3, how long did it take your little one to get rid of the heat rash?
@njgriffin my kids would get a little rash similar and it was heat rash..... I'm not sure tho, mosquitos would be raised and that looks like a ton in one area to be mosquitos.
@nerdymommyplus2, I just find it weird that it’s ONLY on her back. Like not even her legs or arms or anywhere else
Mosquitoes are bad in my area this year. Bite me through my clothes and before it's even close to getting dark
@nerdymommyplus2, we are barely outside and I never have her naked so idk when she coulda gotten bit😩
Mine had it on his thighs and his doctor said it was baby acne but it went away on its own. Not saying that's what your baby have. I would just make appt. Good luck.
