Rare to get a positive at 8dpo (unless further Long then thinking) baby usually implants around 6dpo then takes a couple of days for hcg to register (very rare but not impossible) but this looks gray no color I'd say evaporated line and must be b4 5min mark

@blessed2018w9 it was definitely there at around the 5 min mark but I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me so I just left it. It is very purple in person. I'm gonna take another cheapie and see what happens.

Could be! Mine was super light like this with my daughter around 9-10 dpo. And it got darker after 10 minutes. It looked almost grey but like I said it got darker. Fingers crossed this is your bfp!

Thank you ladies! I took another cheapie and a first response this morning and the cheapie is a touch darker but the first response is suuuuuuuper faint. I'm gonna go get some more tests in a little bit.... I'm going crazy. I want a little girl so bad. Hopefully the fact that it's so early means it will be a girl.
