How soon did you moms that had csections leave the house ? With my baby being in the nicu I plan on going today and I’m only one week postpartum. I need to see my baby but worried about doing too much too soon. 😭 I plan on taking cabs back and forth instead of taking the train..

Immediately. I declined the pain meds so I wouldn’t be drowsy while out.
If you didn’t have any major issues post surgery, you can go out and about for small periods of time. Going to the NICU is an exception of course, just try not to be on your feet for too long or move too quickly.
The day they released me from the hospital was really only day I stayed home. My daughter was in the NICU for 2 months, so I went twice a day before my 6 week appointment and 2-3x per day after since I was cleared to drive. Just take it easy and make sure you’re taking breaks from moving around when you’re feeling pain.
I was out and about the day after we came home from the hospital. Just short trips to wal mart or the grocery store, baby checkups, etc.
I will not be tested for COVID unless I am showing all signs of having it! They taking newborn babies away from their mothers if they test positive. Over my cold dead body! No ONE will take my baby away from me bet!
I'm afraid my baby girl might be getting too chubby... I love her rolls, but should I worry?

I was just informed that my MIL wants to be waiting at the hospital so as soon as I pop out the baby she can rush in to be with the baby. I am really a private person and dont really want anyone at the hospital when I give birth (except my husband). I was planning on calling all the family to come to the hospital once I was all cleaned up and ready for visitors. Am I being rude? How do I tell them I dont want visitors a minute after pushing out...

I went to Walmart 4 days pp. I had a c section but didn’t have much pain at all and never had to get my pain pills filled. Just make sure if you start hurting you stop and rest and don’t overdue it.
