Okay, this is my first time posting on here.
In 2013 I had a baby via c-section and my aunt adopted him due to my living circumstances. Right after they pulled baby out of me the took him to get cleaned up and my aunt promised me she wouldn’t leave me alone. Needless to say when baby was cleaned and ready to go to her room she left me alone. I have a c-section scheduled for the 16th and it’s like the trauma and flash backs are hitting me hard and I’m getting scared to even have my baby. SO will be there the whole time and he is 120% involved with everything but I can’t help but to feel all the feelings from the last time in the OR. I do plan on talking with hubby tonight when he gets home from work, just scared and don’t know what to do.
With your scheduled c-Section, everything will be so much easier mama. They will make your husband wait outside while you get your spinal and get prepped but once they bring him in you will have him there the entire time. My mom never left my side once from the operating room, to us going back to the postpartum room. And also with this being your second time you know more of what to expect and you have the opportunity to voice what you dont want aswell.
Thank you ladies, my SO is the best support. We are gonna talk here soon since he just got home from work.
Sounds like u have good support from your SO! You will do great mamma! Everything will be ok!
I’m so sorry for your trauma. I can understand what it’s like to have great fear from bad past experiences. Having a reassuring and comforting spouse can really do wonders though. Just let him know you don’t want him to leave you side the whole time and I’m sure he would comply easily to ease your fears ❤️ I hope everything goes well for you and your baby ❤️
It's my turn ladies!
Finally, after nearly FORTY-TWO weeks... I decided to get induced. Baby Violet scared me with some decreased fetal movement and I couldn't wait any longer.

Me and my princess first time getting epidural and I’m numb from legs is this normal i can’t walk good yet
So scared and nervous about tomorrow :( I'm legit getting my self sick. C section in the morning never thought I would be this scared.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Forgive me if this offends anyone but is it just me or does it seem like doctors are so quick to jump to c-sections these days? Even my midwife at 30 weeks said if my baby doesn’t turn (he’s transverse) I’ll have to have a c-section. Which of course put so many thoughts in my mind that I didn’t necessarily need because I still have ten weeks. I just don’t get it I guess. Technically we can go to 42 weeks.
This is my 4th baby, 3rd c-section, it was just the trauma of my aunt lying to me that’s making me have bad memories and stuff and scaring me
