So my bonus daughters birthday party will be on sept 22 and I am due sept 29. Am I being to ambitious because I want to make her birthday cake myself?
I just don’t want to go into labor at her party. This is my first and my mom said she went 2 weeks late with both my sister and I so I’m hoping I’m kinda like my mom where I won’t have her on my bonus daughter’s birthday.

@chadandtanya14, yea, sometimes I say stepdaughter other times I say bonus daughter. Most of the time I just call her daughter but I didn’t want to confuse people with saying I’m a first time mom and planning my daughter’s birthday.
Can I ask what a bonus daughter us? A nicer way to say step daughter?
And I would say you should be fine to make it. Most first time mommas dont go very early
No harm in trying. Worst case scenario, get a sheet cake from a local grocery store. They should be able to work on short notice.
@choffman499 very true! Unless I'm talking official to someone where it matters i call him step son(which I don't like) but most of the time I say son as well 😀
