Ladies, I'm confused! Obviously, I haven't experienced that so maybe the question is very stupid, but I thought milk isn't coming straight away after birth? Or why then most of the women bring formula milk to the hospital? 🙈🤷🏼♀️ xx

The real Milk is coming on a third day or so, but that doesn’t stop you from breastfeeding baby straight away. There is enough drink for them at the very beginning.

I tried to breastfeed about an hour after birth but he wasn’t getting anything.. I wasn’t producing any colostrum or anything at first and my son didn’t get his first little bit of milk until the next day - formula from a cup while they tried me on the breast-pump at the hospital to try and get something, anything 😂 it didn’t work and I had to change my notes to say bottle feeding so I could feed him and go home. I did spring a leak a couple days later and it was very yellow at first, but he refused to latch on then and I had to express and give him the milk in a bottle.
I’m hoping it’s different this time round 😣
