So looks like MIL is coming to stay with us for a few months. She fell over the weekend and isn't able to walk. Sad that she has 5 kids all with their own place and yet only 1 of them (my husband) can help her in her time of need. She currently lives with his sister who has kicked her out because she can't take care of her now that she's on bed rest. So now my husband has to take care of her, our daughter, and soon to be another baby. I'm furious at his siblings and slightly at him for offering, but at the same time I can't just leave her on the street. If it were my mother I would say yes in a heartbeat, so I'm trying to be kind. Tomorrow we are setting some ground rules with her so she knows what's expected and I guess we'll see how this goes. Somehow when I got my own home I knew she would end up living with us 😒

It's like that in every family many sibling's and shit always falls on just 1 to maintain it all...yes definitely set boundaries with her and your husband should expect same ...No one is extra special..another person in the house equals another mouth to feed,laundry, etc so he should take all this into consideration
@whitmom2be18 It could be, I'm trying to stay positive. I lived with her when I was younger and it wasn't a very good time. But this time it's my house and my rules so that may make things easier on me.
@blakeslatinmama That's exactly what we're going to sit down and do tomorrow. I already went over everything I felt with my husband to make sure he was ok with it and on board and tomorrow we're sitting down with her.

@blakeslatinmama I said the same thing! I'm so disappointed his siblings are refusing to help out at all especially knowing we have a baby due so soon! She's on bed rest for a week or two and then starting PT. But the good thing is she does help out around the house and she cooks too. I just want it known this is NOT a permanent thing.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
@sherrynygirl It's the same way on my side of the family and I'm the one who the responsibility falls on too with my parents because my brother is useless 🙄 luckily my parents are in very good health and I'm not needed for any serious assistance at the moment. But my husband and I did sit down and actually write out what we expect and everything so hopefully it goes well when we sit down with her tomorrow and go over it all.
