Well my son got evaluated and failed 4 out of the 5 test they did on him. Which is not bad!! But we were told hes at a 9 month level hes almost a year old, he doesnt communicate well..and barely crawling, doesnt stand on his own unassisted. Just breaks my heart, how behind he is.. I'll be there for my son every step of the way..but as a mother my heart breaks. He will be in physical therapy for a year. To help with his communicating skills and motor skills. Any mamas with a baby in physical therapy or speech therapy for delays?? I would appreciate any feed back.

My son just started speech therapy and he’s gonna be two this Friday. Every baby is different so don’t worry. He’ll catch up and whatever help he gets will help him too. ❤️

My son had physical therapy for a year up until may. And it's super hard but I found it easier to help him by seeing thT what he was strong enough to do but was to scared to try on his own and I would be with him and help him perform the action like pulling himself up on a table on leg at a time and on his belly making him tuck in his feet and hold himself up with his knees and hands and the more I did it the more he realized that it wasn't as hard as he thought and had start doing it in his own.
I mean he didn't start crawling til 9 months and no walking until 14 months and now he's all caught up physically and he's turning 2 tomorrow! But he still has speech therapy but that is slowly turning around too:)
I know every kid is different but it is something u can start to try to show him u think it's safe to put him in these positions so it will make him more comfy doing it
