What're y'all experiences with first OB appointments? Did y'all get an ultrasound at ur first appointment? My last baby I didn't...but I'm going to a new dr so just wondering what everyone else experienced! I'll be 14 /15 weeks at my first.

I had an ultrasound in my OBs office at my apt to confirm pregnancy but I don't have another one until 20 weeks.

First for me was always a confirmation of oregnancy except with my last which was a follow up of an ER visit with an SCH.

@worlds.okayest.mom they confirmed it with my son with the heartbeat . I really want an ultrasound lol.

Typically I didnt get my first routine ultrasound until the gender. My last was complicated so I had a ton of ultrasounds.

With my first pregnancy I had an ultrasound at 5w3d, then with my second my first appointment was 15w and I had an ultrasound then and got a glimpse of gender on that one (of course it wasn't confirmed until 19w but at my 15w one he was like yeahhhh she's spread eagle that is a girl haha)

I have an ultrasound from my first appointment. It went well. I was really happy with my OB. She addressed any concerns i had, &’ also recommended a great MFM high risk dr to carefully watch baby and i. She was very positive but at the same time did not sugar coat that i would be in for a rough pregnancy.

My first one was blood work, normal weight/blood pressure and ultrasound
