No. He gives it to him if he has a runny nose and it wakes him at night

Also adding we were told to give nothing for coughs, colds when they’re this young. I’ve tried zarbees to help a cough before but that’s basically just honey to coat the throat.

@ladyfreyja, you should see the ped. Could be an allergy thing. Cold and cough medicine isn’t the answer.

I told him nothing like that before 6 years. It's way to much. Tylenol is fine now and again, but I don't even like using that stuff

Even so, doc said nothing for colds this young. Unless a fever or if acting particularly inconsolable and i suspect a headache or something, I give half a dose of Tylenol. Tell hubby to stop giving the meds.

I did I said you are over medicating him. He just said do the math. He's wrong! It's way to much. He does not get sick that much. And his pediatrician told us to give that to him at one point a year ago. I don't even know why they recommended that stuff.

So basically we just got in a huge fight because I'm wrong again as always

If my husband gave our child a medication that isn’t intended for her age I would be livid. And if your child is not actually sick with severe symptoms there’s no need to medicate. Using a medication that isn’t even intended for them over a runny nose is negligent in my opinion. He could cause more harm than good if your child over dosed or his body had a reaction to it.

So after we had our fight about it last night he ran out and got more or had his mommy drop some off. I'm gonna put the date on the box and see how fast he goes through it again
