So, question for mommas who took phenergan and/or zofran during their pregnancy: did these prescriptions mess with the way your breath smelled? Mine has STAYED awful for the past week, week and a half, no matter how much I brush my teeth or how much gum I’ve chewed. It’s very annoying.
@mrsscoggins, YES...I had a root canal done but that way wayyyy later into the pregnancy after that issue went away. But if you know you may have gingivitis or something then that contributes a little too. I also had to deal with gingivitis during pregnancy 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
@heera, for real though! I may go to a dentist anyway. My gums are swelling on and off and are bleeding and that had been happening a few months before I conceived. It may be related, who knows?
@mrsscoggins, I don’t either. Thats why I went to my OB and was like hey what GIVES?! 🤣 i was like “your guna have to give me some medicated mouth wash or SOMETHING “😂💎
@heera, well hopefully something will work because I can’t STAND to smell bad! 🙅🏼♀️🙅🏼♀️
@mrsscoggins, your very welcome. I know it’s annoying. I had it in early pregnancy with my second and I hated it. It wasn’t THAT bad but it was enough to where i noticed it..But my OB mentioned it being the change in hormones and after trying a couple of things it got a lot better.
No. It didn’t do that to me. BUT, just so you know, some people get bad breath during pregnancy. It has to do with your hormones and if your not drinking enough water/fluids that can happen on and off too. Try drinking more fluids or water and see if that helps a little and if you already drink a decent amount id add a probiotic or some yogurt. Sometimes that can help level you out. But everyone’s different. Goodluck hunn! ❤️💎
@heera, YUCK that sucks! That’s probably my issue, to be honest.
