I feel like I read somewhere that it needs to be inserted no more than 30 min before sex. I always used it right before.

Use it before sex. I usually used it when we had sex the the few days before my fertile widow (or a few days before u ovulate) and for the few days after. I used it at first only on my ovulation day but the month I used it like that we conceived. Also once ur done doing the deed try to stay laying down for like 15mjn before getting up. Good luck
