Any ideas on how to help your body progress. I'm not really progressing much. 2-3 cm dilated and 60-70% effaced for a few weeks now. Currently 38 weeks and 5 days. My doctor has given me the option to induce but I want him to come on his own. Please don't suggest castor oil i have my own options on it. No negative comments either. Thank you!
My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her own when she is ready to come ! As much as I am anxious to meet her and have her home with me, those last few weeks of brain development and lung maturation means so much more to me! I'm hoping and praying that things turn around, and I don't have to get induced. I'm surely going to talk to my doctor about it Thursday when I go back.
Starting TWW. Anyone else? I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Overall whats everyones thoughts on this. Me personally I dont mind lgbt .but to teach it I feel like is a waste . I can teach my own children that if they ask or even wanna know
Hi I am into my 15 week now But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though What should i do i am very confused Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights

I was fingertip dilated up until I went in to labor. Don't stress about it. It doesn't mean much until you're actually having contractions.

@cooperd0122, so put you and your child at risk because she’s on vacation? Craziness. My doctor said the same and I laughed in her face. I said I’m not risking that for the 10 minutes you’ll be in the room. All set.
Your body won’t go into labor until it’s ready. Nipple stim, rolling your hips on a ball, sex. It’s best for baby to just let baby come when he’s ready as long as both you and him are medically ok.

It might be a little weird but they say sexual arousal from your partner or just by yourself can help get you more dilated and if you climax

@cooperd0122, 😬 I do not like when OBs do this. Well I mean, lots of sex. Semen helps. Lots of walking.

@phoebesmommy I'll be 39 weeks Monday. She's not going to be in town on my due date so she had gave me the option to be induced if I want her to deliver.

You’re not full term til 39 weeks. Unless you’re high risk or there’s a reason, don’t let your dr talk about induction til you’re past 40wks
