Has anyone had a c section scheduled for exactly 40 weeks and gone into labor before that ? If so when and what happened ? There wasn’t any open dates for scheduling at 39 weeks but I’m nervous with this second pregnancy and being so big that she’s gonna come before lol
Yes I did. I went in the day of my c section at 5 cm dilated and I still have my c-section.
I was scheduled at 39 weeks and I came in one day earlier because my water broke.
Just go in as soon as you start having contractions. They always leave room in the schedule for unscheduled surgeries.
I was scheduled at 39 weeks and 4 days. I was having Braxtons for about a month so every time I got checked I kept asking them, what if I go into labor? Will they do it early? And they told me as long as I’m not open to 3 cm or more, they’ll have me wait until my c section because they will be worried about infection from being dilated so much. But other than that, I was just to hold on 🤷🏽♀️
So if you actually go into labor, they’ll do the c section then since that’s what you’re planning 👍🏼

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
