@zozo1990loly, I didn’t want a epidural. And I wouldn’t be aloud in the water if I had one. I laboured on gas and air. And a birthing ball. I also went on walks and walked around. I wasn’t in the water longer to have the heart monitored but they can do that on the water. And once your in the water it’s should relax you. It all depends on how you handle it all. No one can tell. You may go with out any pain relief or you may want a epidural straight away. I would always say go with the center as it’s worth trying it even if you don’t stay there. X

@rachaellw Ohh congratulation my dear 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷

Really 🙁 that's bad how could u handle the heat ? Really so u recommend it u didn't feel u want to have the epidural at at all? And at which stage they let u usr the birth pool I am sure u used it ? Coz today they told me I can use it only at the end of labour I want to use it from the beginning to relax me but I think we can't use tens machine or baby heart monitor in the water right ?

I gave birth in a birth center on Tuesday. The room was hitting 31 degrees with no fan available. It was so so hot. But I had the most perfect labour in there and so happy I managed to do it there on gas and air. It all depends on what you want out of the birth and how you cope when it comes to it. X

Which hospital are you going to give birth in ?

The hospital i gave birth in, the birth centre and labour ward are in different levels. So they have to take you in your bed or wheelchair to get there. About 3 minutes to get there x

Personally, i wont risk it and go into birth centre mainly because i dont know what obstacles i may face during birth and no doctor is around.

I had to go into the birth centre for one of my children. But it wasnt my choice. The delivery suite was full and i was in quick labour.

It turned out that my son was 4.5kg and his shoulders got stuck. I was pushing and pushing and the midwives tried so hard to get him out safely. He did come out quick but was very blue because he was stuck at the shoulders for a while.

So it wasnt a pleasant experience for me.

I'd rather be closely monitored and for doctor to be around x

You can only go in the birth centre if you ent having any pain relief apart from gas and air and are low risk, if you decide you want the epidural ect they will transfer you onto the delivery suite. I would of loved to be in the birth centre but I was induced x
