When does the OB check your cervix again? She’s only checked it once when I first got pregnant

A good one will only check when labor is suspected. No need beforehand.

Dilation doesn't mean much until you're in active labor so like @laniejay said, there's no need for them to check.

Mine started at 37 weeks

Everything's been normal with my pregnancy and the 1st cervical check is next week at my 37 week appt, I believe, at the appt when they do the group b strep swab

Mine doesn’t check unless there is a problem or I’m in labor.

Everything has been normal for us so we haven't been checked at all and not sure when we will.

My ob wouldn't check me until 39 weeks bc she said it's a possibility it can put you into labor. I got checked at 38 weeks bc I thought my water broke & went into labor the next day

Mine started in the late 30’s I think around 35 weeks along and checked it at every appt.

I started being checked at 30 weeks but that’s because I’ve been having preterm labor contractions. I was checked again yesterday at 32 weeks.

From 36 weeks on I can choose to have them check mine. It hurts so bad but I do want her to check lol
