Funny, this was also brought up in my convo with SILs. None of us had/have tried them and I was wondering how they worked!

I had thought about trying those but I've read quite a few stories that say they're more unreliable then pads.

@mississippi.queen, everyone I know who has tried them loves them. It’s just finding the one that’s right that is the trick.

@wvgirl, hmmm I’ve never heard that. I’m willing to try because I’m not a fan of the more natural products and I refuse to stick toxic chemicals into or near my vagina.

@laniejay i wish i could use them because i feel the same but i get so heavy during my period idk what else to use other than tampons.

@wvgirl, I’ve heard they’re amazing for heavy flow. I’m going to wear a pantyliner the first few times to be sure. Lol

I use the diva cup. It takes a while figure it out. I would keep pads or liners for your first few cycles. After that you’ll wonder why you didn’t jump on the train sooner.

I have the luna cup off from Amazon. I love it!! I uses to have heavy to medium flow and since using the cup I have a super light period. I heard the chemicals in pads and tampons cause you to have heavy flows. Not sure if that's true.

Luna cup though comes in 2 sizes so you can see which fits better. I read if you have a high cervix to use the bigger one and if you have a short cervix to use the small one.

@gabby.pineda, I’ll keep that in mind. I have a high cervix that most doctors can’t even find 😂 so those options may be more helpful

@laniejay my cervix is high too but during my period it goes super low! I would try and check to see how your cervix is while on your period!

I bought the diva cup and will never look back. I have an extremely heavy flow and never had a leaking problem. It does have a bit of a learning curve but once you have it figured out you will be wishing you used it sooner. I know I did.

Tampon.

I have nightmares of wearing a cup and it falls out in public and splashes everyone and everyone’s screaming full of my blood and running and slipping and drowning in it.
