@crystalhealing, just because it’s legal doesn’t make people aware of it. Idiots call the police for anything 🤦🏼♀️It’s true. All 50 states legally protect breastfeeding. I live in Idaho and it was the last hold out state. Thank goodness it’s not that way any longer.
@crystalhealing, they weren’t arrested but all police have to respond to calls so they responded and asked the two Mother’s to go somewhere else or stop feeding their babies. They came back the next day with 12 other mothers and they did a breastfeeding sit in at the pool
@inkedsouthernbelle, I would of told the police to go harass someone else. That would have had me pissed. They can go somewhere else if they don’t like it smh.🤦🏽♀️🤷🏼♀️
@alyboo102293, it’s hard to stand up to police here because they harass you, can beat your ass and lock you up and apologize for it later without being fired or even a suspension. They’re notorious for being assholes just in our town. I’m sure these women didn’t want to take on those cops by themselves but I’m so proud of them for coming back the next day with a dozen other breastfeeding mothers and taking a stand. It’s a lot harder for cops to tell that many women who aren’t breaking any laws to leave.
