@rina414 I'm saving it definitely just in case he didn't want to latch or something so I know he will get the colostrum

@keeondracarroll01, did the dr tell you it can cause you to go into labor? You are far enough along it’s not a big concern just making sure you understand

Nipple stim can trigger contractions. Pumping can definitely get things moving. If your body isn’t ready though, it can just lead to a whole bunch of discomfort with no progression.

@keeondracarroll01, That’s a great idea. Definitely save it! That’s one of my concerns, that I won’t be able to produce anything to feed baby right away.

Breast pump covered by insurance

Breast pump covered by insurance I've already done what I needed to find out what type of pump I get covered through insurance. It turns out, with my insurance, I can't even get my pump shipped to me until I call them with all the birth details of my baby. So...wth am I supposed to do having a baby and no pump?! I plan to pump exclusively and this REALLY throws a wrench in my plans.

Breastfeeding moms: so I am planning on going on a 3 day vacation with my hubby & a bunch of friends to Catalina in May, (my baby won't be going with us) and I do not wanna be pumping and dumping every 2 hours out there.. so if I don't pump or breastfeed for 3-4 days, will my milk supply drop significantly? 😩😩 & I don't know how I'm gonna deal with the engorgement pain if I can't find time to pump out there.
