@laniejay, suggestions are good. I used baby’s only with both of my boys and prob will this one as well. (I have supply issues) You can get it at most health food stores or order online. I use the whey one because it gets its sugar from lactose rather than brown rice. Either one is fine, it’s just a preference. Also - the can says “toddler formula.” Don’t let that deter you. The company just encourages baby be breastfed the first year. It’s fine before then.

Agree with all above posters!! I'm using Enfamil Alimentum liquid. Really gentle on the stomach

Gerber Good Start Gentle was amazing for our son! Our son's pediatrician recommended it because it's what she gave her kiddos.

@mindallia.bizardi it doesn't! My mom wasn't a bad mom at all, mother nature just got in the way! I love her to death and she's my best friend. Sometimes nature just has a different story and path for one, than the mass herd of others!

Just wanted to say, my mom was unable to breast feed me after I was born because she needed to go back on her medication (she is bipolar), and I turned out fine and healthy on formula. I saw the sad face in your post, and just wanted to say hi and its okay! You've got this and you're doing whats best for you and your baby:)!

@spookylyn, yes but these medications I was on before I was pregnant so I already know they work for me so if I need medication those are the ones they are gonna put me on.

@laniejay, yes I have I’ve talked to a couple of my friends about it. And where would I get hipp and holle? I’ve never heard of that.

Enfamil is our choice of formula too 👍🏼

Hipp was what I put my son on first I then switched him to enfamil AR. I was super picky about making sure that his formula didn't have high fructose corn syrup which a lot of them do

You can still give him Enfamil past 3 month as well.

Enfamil newborn is what we switched to after a month of ebf.

HiPP and Holle are superior products. There’s also many organic options out there that would be my next choice. Baby’s only is a good organic.

Have you considered donor milk?

Try not to get too down about it. Formula was created for medical needs, you have a medical need.

Enfamil newborn is a good one it goes up to 3 months, some babies end up needing to change formulas just remember it takes about a week to see changes. Once you have baby the nurses at the hospital can help you also.
