I have this thing. It's called milkies (or something like that. I actually got it brand new from a local thrift shop) you insert it in your bra and it catches the letdown. No need to pump

The more you pump the more you’re telling your body to produce. If you collect your letdown you can freeze it.

@_sheriee i do pump and thow it out because I get so full that It hurts and deals like I'm an overflowing balloon about to pop

Completely normal. Make sure not to pump for the first 4-6 weeks till you regulate. It will get better

@camsmomma thank you it is hard and socks sounds like a good idea too , she is probably cluster feeding but shr also jas been throwing up after words i tjink she is eating because she is bord too what else can i use the milk for ?

@verguinia, you can use a diaper as breast pads if need be! You can also use flour sack towels layer them up, cut them in to circles and sew it together.

And I had a similar issue, pump the other side while she is nursing! It will provide relief and a freezer supply of milk.

If you don’t have a breast pump and you qualify for WIC they will usually give you one on loan

@verguinia, your milk is trying to regulate. If you don’t have any breast pads, try clean socks until you get some. I know it’s difficult but it’ll get easier. She’s probably cluster feeding which basically means she’s eating a lot which will happen. When it comes to your breast leaking, try catching it in a clean/sterile cup and freezing it. You could use it for other things.

@_sheriee my milk is over flowing :( it's going everywhere I wake up in milk puddles :( she is hungry all the time and i forget to put my bra back on and cant afford the breast pads, and my milk is sprinkling out of my breast like a foutine !!!!!and when I breastfeed her my other breast is leaking !!!

What’s going on?
