I am a first time mommy to be and want to breastfeed. Any suggestions on good breast pump brands and milk storage? I'm completely clueless on the topic. Please help!
@kimberlytiger, wait, I think my pump came with like 2 bottles.
@kimberlytiger, I got mine separately. It was like a starter kit with like some 5oz bottles, 2oz bottles, nipples and bags.
@crystalhealing Do the bags and bottle come with the medela in style advance or sold separately?
@motherof3nigerianprincesses thankyou, I'm practically head chairman of the IBTC (Itty bitty titty committee) so I don't think that will be a problem for me. I was thinking about the hand express pumps though just to save some money. Did you use the medela hand pumps or a different brand?
@kimberlytiger, actually the bags hang from it. All you have to do is pump, close the bags and mark them before freezing. You can either pump directly into the bags or bottles.
Hand expressing is good too. I have larger breast and it was WAY better than a pump
@crystalhealing That's great, I was really wanting something like that so it would be easier for me and my husband. Does medela have bottles that the storage bags can drop into?
I also use the Medela pump in style advanced and love it. Madela even makes storage bags you can pump directly into which I like a lot.
You don't have to pump to breastfeed. I used a medela pump in style advanced. A lot of mom's love the spectra s2. There's also the freemie.
@kimberlytiger yeap didn't work for me. I kept getting clogged
