Anyone have there baby off the bottle 8 month old ? How do u start them on a sippy any advice

I found that my daughter would only do straws

We've been off for 2 months. We started with introducing water in it then put his formula in it

We took mine off at 12m. Before then we let them practice with the soft spout sippy. Ultimately a straw cup was easiest. This one had the smallest straw that was the easiest to learn on.

Good question I was wondering the same thing. I wanna ditch the bottles before my twins are a year, maybe 7 or 8 months old. I waited till a year with my first son, so I wanna do it earlier this time

I started 100% juice for all three of my kids when they were 6 months old. Juice was only in a sippy so if they wanted juice that was what they got it in. I only did a small amount of juice once a day until they were older. Didn’t take long for any of them to give up the bottle.

@bbymom24 good. We don't have any bottles in the house. Bottle free since 6 months. He took right to it. He loves his sippy cup

@mommytotheo, every time I give my daughter water she chokes on it bc she drinks it sooo fast

@bbymom24 what cup are you using? The months on the sippy cups kind of act like the flows on a bottle. We use the 6 month plus NUK ones
