@brittanymhestehave, Some people are more prone to gestational diabetes then others (there’s many factors) You eating sweets like cookies won’t effect your test or give you GD unless your already predisposed to it. The test is pretty simple it’s done on fasting and you drink a solution then have a blood test. I had GD with my first two pregnancies and not my third. I’m a nurse on L&D many of our GD mommas didn’t eat sweets and still had it. It’s about the functionality of your pancreas during pregnancy.

@ambrerumph1440, I would be eating them up too.With this pregnancy all I crave is sweets.But I have to becareful I have my diabetes testing in aug.Not sure if you can get gestational diabetes from too much sugar.I dont know

@brittanymhestehave i wish I could send all my mom friends some I have to put the other batter up cause I am ashamed to admit that I have ate a dozen cookies and still eating them time to turn the oven off nomore cooking making tonight
