My son had one soft marker (femur length measuring more than 2 weeks behind his gestational age). We had already done blood screening for genetic disorders so we knew he did not have it, he's just got super short legs.

@knockout, such a relief to know that. My regular Down syndrome test came back neg but they did a more advanced one. I need too not worry so much! I just want a big healthy family

@beautiful_disaster91 at first I was very upset when hearing the news because I lost my daughter at wk24 last year and I felt like I didn something wrong..but my husband and I spoke the day of the news and he made me realize that God only gives special babies to special parents because the Lord knows how much love we will give her for the rest of her life..we sont see it as down syndrome..we see this as a up syndrome because there is nothing down about it. Shes our special gift from God and shes the same as anyone else shell just le pen run things at a different pace and she will look like my other children only a little more special in the making..I had a looong time to process the situation and I'm more and more excited to meet my baby girl more then ever in November. Dont let anyone say the word Downs because I have found that word is a "nasty" word especially with other mothers because it's a syndrome not a disease..dont stress I know MUCH easier said then done cause I'm worried about my daughter's heart right now..but just know the Lord has our babies in his hands and he is the best physician there is..just like they told me that her ribs were smaller then normal and they had no answers for me on this on why cause it wasn't associated with the DS..then at wk24 the Lord answered our prayers and all was normal..the Lord can fix anything if you look upon him. I'm always here if you have any questions as I'm still learning as I go with this special baby girl..but just know tour baby will be ok.

@blessed2018w9, a few cists on brain but they said the won’t harm anything with the brain might go away also but it’s a marker for Down syndrome had a cell free test done today and get back in a week. But I am so worried. How do you keep so calm?

My daughter will be born with this special gift..she had fluid on her neck and back up until wk24 (wk24 is when its supposed to go away and I thank God alot for it disappearing) they seen a spot on her (not sure if if kidney or what) but thankfully that went away)..she "may" have clubbed foot but there not certain cause theres times she can straighten it out..and she may have a heart defect but go tomorrow at the pediatric doctor's tom. for further on that.. her limbs are also 2wks behind but I have issues with my arms as well so to me normal but common in DS little ones ..but all these are markers for down syndrome..did you have genetic tests done?
