Has anyone miscarried before and can answer a question for me? I had a appointment for pre-op for the d&c, but this morning I started bleeding on my own. They move my appointment closer and tell me it’s a follow up and bottoms off and so fourth and they get the transvaginal u/s ready. I didn’t agree and the Dr was rude and told me that I was in the wrong place?? I don’t know who wants a big ass stick in their vagina when their miscarrying bleeding and cramping very bad. He was beyond rude and I ended up just going home. Now I need to know if anyone miscarried natural and how it went? Not too sure what to do.
@trinityjazmine99 we waited 3 cycles mainly because I was a mess and decided to book a last minute trip to Disneyland haha so we went in June and I wanted to ride rides haha then we tried the week after we got back and yeah, it happen first try!
@waitingonbaby2, He wants to try again as soon as it passes. We’re not too sure how long we’re suppose to wait. was it easier after the mc? Congratulations 💓💋
@trinityjazmine99 I used a heating pad a lot and just lots of rest, I hope it all passes quickly for you ❤️ and we had our loss in March and I'm already pregnant again... So don't lose hope !
@waitingonbaby2, The thing is both my babies vanished. So I know there’s nothing there and I just started officially miscarrying and im in so much pain. i definitely don’t want anything inside my vaginal. I’m so so sorry for your loss and god bless you for being such a strong woman
I started bleeding and I got a vaginal ultrasound and it was the most painful thing in my life!! But I wanted to make sure the baby didn't have a heartbeat. I knew it didn't but I felt I needed that before agreeing to anything. I eventually did it all at home , it hurt.... But I got to keep the baby and I buried it in a tree. I did end up in the ER when the bleeding got bad after I passed the baby I had a few clotx that were stuck
So sorry for your losses everyone! I will be going back to the doctors when I am no longer bleeding.
@laniejay, she is correct I had to get a trans vaginal when I miscarried it wasn’t that bad
The ultrasound is to confirm see if you’ve passed everything. He should have been better at explaining things.
Many times you’re a lot more fertile after a loss, yes. If it passes naturally there’s no clinical reason to wait unless you have complications. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. And yes a vaginal ultrasound is actually very common procedure to make sure the baby and everything has passed and nothing is retained but I can totally understand why you’d pass on that. Hugs.
