I felt absolutely forced in the hospital with my 1st (2013) Im being honest breastfeeding just isn't for me and I've had great experiences with formula for my girls. They are both so smart at 5 & 3. I have no plans on BF with my next and Im totally okay with that :) my husband is a formula supporter, for our lives it just makes sense 💗 Don't let anyone ever guilt you or make you feel less than!!!

- Any amount of breast milk helps. Unless you just don’t want to struggle with pumping. Omg. Pumping has been the hardest thing I’ve ever done 🙄 it’s cheaper for sure 😅

@yvelid, yes the whole speech thing really is annoying it’s like yes I know they have to let you pump at work and stuff but I don’t have the kind of job I can be away from

I agree I breastfeed right now as my plan was to try and pump when I go back to work but I’m at a point where it just doesn’t seem like it will work. With my first I only breastfed for about a month then switched to formula and wanted to do it longer this time but the way my job is I can’t see myself having time to pump nor do I have anywhere to pump. Breast milk does have its benefits but it’s just not for everyone

Fed is best!! I’m a breastfeeding 🤱 mom and I always advocate fed is best. You know what works for your family and don’t let anyone make you feel bad because of your decision

Whatever works best for mom is best for baby! A fed baby is a happy baby.

Fed is best! Doesn’t matter if it’s breast or formula.. every mom and every child is different. Formula gets all the nutrients, probiotics and calories etc in the baby just like breastmilk does. I hate how much mom shaming and debate there is nowadays about feeding a child! As long as baby is fed, loved and cared for that’s all that matters mama! ❤️ whatever works best for you and baby!

I think everyone should TRY breastfeeding. What happens after is up to the mom and baby. My daughter didn’t have an issue switching from bottle to breast, just introduce the bottle early :). It could be breast milk, formula, or a mix.

Fed is best. I have done both. Honestly I don’t like breastfeeding at all but I will pump. But I also formula feed. I was a formula baby. Yes breast milk has benefits if the milk is good. My bestie just had to give up breastfeeding cause it was not helping her daughter. She wasn’t gaining weight and it was causing issues. Now she’s on formula and striving. Do what’s best for you. Don’t let anyone try to stop you from doing what’s best for you and your family

My son was both breast and formula fed. Formula for the first 3 day breast until 6/7 months and formula for a few months. It feels forced by some people by others it was nice to have support but ultimately I’m just glad my son was fed 🤷🏼‍♀️ I originally wanted to breastfeed because it’s free and I didn’t want to pay for the formula but I really enjoyed the connection I felt with him (most of the time) but it was so hard! Whatever you choose is going to be the right thing for your baby don’t feel pressured into anything you don’t think will work for you. That being said it doesn’t hurt to still get a breast pump through your insurance just in case you do change your mind cause those can get expensive!

Don't get discouraged hun and you can always pump I said I was going to do both and they had something to say I told them as long as the baby not hungry that's all that matters

I breast fed 2 of my 3 and I remember with my last my newborn in the hospital was inconsolable and I asked for formula it was taking a good amount of time & even my colostrum hadn’t came in yet the first time they tired to act like “ just keep trying” then I just couldn’t take no more, we didn’t have a nursery at the hospital & I was exhausted on pain pills from my csection with nobody at the hospital with me, I had to cuss someone out for some formula lol , they brought me it and my baby went right to sleep. So what’s best for you & baby no matter what as long as you feed your kid you are a good mom.
