Haven’t been on much because let’s be honest it’s no where near the same as bb! But anyway, my little mans almost 12 weeks old. We’ve been co-sleeping. I initially didn’t want to when he was born, but look at us now 🤦🏻‍♀️ Anyway, on with my question lol how do I train him to sleep on his own at night? I finally broke down and bought a play pen because I miss sleeping alone! I started with naps and he took to that easily, but once bed time rolls around it’s a fight! I’ll get him down just for him to wake and hour later and I can not handle it at night. so I just give in & bring him back into bed with me 😩 HELP.

Definitely do.. it helped me. We co slept for the first week or so and it was a nightmare getting him to sleep alone, but that did the trick. I think it made him feel like he was still in bed with us

I just have the bassinet literally right next to my bed so he can hear and smell us both. And I just pat him or stroke in between his eyes on the bridge of his nose and shhhhhh till he crashes out.

He’s a 18 pound monster and has full head control already lol maybe I’ll try a pillow under the play pen mattress? If that’s safe?

When he started moving his head more I used a rock n play put a pillow under so his angle wasn’t so depressed. And if I need to I can give the bottom a little pat and it jiggles him a little as if I’m holding him in my arms and i pat his butt.

If you wanna keep using the pack n play swaddle him or buy him a sleep sack
