Anyone ever deal with recurring yeast infections during pregnancy?

I ended up just speaking with the nurse because they didn't have any appointments available - they prescribed Terconazole

@angelfoodcake, how was your experience using it? I hear a lot of ladies saying it burns worse than the yeast infection itself

@angelfoodcake, I told my OB today and she told me to try monistat 7 and if that doesn’t work then she will prescribe me something

My doctor said any infection durring pregnancy needs to be medicated a d fixed asap because it can cause early labor I did get many contractions with one of the infections and after it was treated my contractions went away

Yes I had three and one was a mix of yeast and bacterial they gave me some cream

Yep! First time in all my pregnancies. I changed soap & I haven't had issues

@shay2beautiful call your doc Hun - apprantly they are super common and recurring in pregnancy

@chink93 Yeah I think I'm going to call my doc as well, last time she told me to use OTC meds and that she rather not prescribe anything... About 3 month before she gave me 10 day antibiotics.

I fill up the bath about waist high and then use 1/2cup give or take (I dont really measure just pour) and soak with my knees up so the water can get where it needs to go. I also still have a peri bottle from giving birth to my son that I’ll sometimes fill up to use and make sure I get the water everywhere

@angelfoodcake, first time I tried yogurt it worked but took awhile. I sleep with no underwear on at night when I have one and wake up feeling so much better but I’m going to tell my doctor this Wednesday because I can’t take it anymore. It’s super annoying.

@k_nc How are you admin the ACV?

I try using apple cider vinegar first to see if it’ll get rid of it and if it doesn’t I get monistat 7 just to be on the safe side

@angelfoodcake, no I called dr and they called me something in. And that didn’t work so I went to dr and they treated it with something stronger

Are you ladies treating with otc meds? I've had several this pregnancy - this is driving me nuts. Just had one last month and treated with 3 day monasit.

I have. I just let it heal on it’s own after awhile. Got rid of it last week. It’s back already 😩

Me 🙄 not this time yet but with my son it was so abnoxious.
