Well if it was gonna be an all day event where you weren't gonna have access to air conditioning at any point throughout the day, I can kinda understand that. No cafes, shops or anything y'all could duck into periodically to keep baby cool? Still doesn't make it any less sucky or mean you cant be bummed bout it mama! I'd definitely be jelly!

Maybe they thought having the lil one with y'all might slow em up for their city exploration or something? That doesn't make sense to me either, just tryin fo think of SOMETHIN! I mean if you had a stroller, carrier or whatever you prefer for babe, and the usual essentials I think it woulda been JUST fine. Do any of the rest of them that went have little ones? Or kids at all? Maybe they just don't understand that mom and baby ARE capable of being out in the world and dont have to be stuck at home non stop! Lol
