Question.... has anyone used Tampons instead of pads for post partum bleeding?
I had my daughter exactly 1 week ago, no tears and I have fealt no pain. I hate wearing pads lol and I am not bleeding that much but pads are so uncomfortable 😭😔
I'm gonna be so uncomfortable with having to use pads after giving birth. I absolutely hate pads. I haven't used them since I was about 15. 😖
I need SERIOUS advice I'm 3 months pregnant and I'm having period like cramps an I'm bleeding a lot I put on a pad but its not helping what do I do I'm have lower abdominal pain I can't stand up with out it going everywhere is this a sign of a misscariage
After giving birth do you bleed or does it depend on the person? Cause I can't stand wearing pads.. I find it gross..cause you're sitting in your own blood... Idk I'm weird

It’s not recommended because it can cause an infection using tampons.
I hate pads too. I feel your pain.

It’s not about the pain you have an open wound, let it heal. Pads gave me a terrible rash, try mama cloth it’s 1000 times more comfortable

Please don’t! 💕 At least not until 6 weeks after. I bled longer- but still couldn’t have used tampons.

No tampons. Like everyone said, all that bacteria can cause a uterine infection and that is going to cause you wayyyy more pain.

I think i read you should not wear tampons might cause infection because with tamons its keeping the bad in you want it to come out

I Used To Wear tampons but it got to the point where I didn’t like to wear it no more & my body wasn’t liking it. @nicolee____,

Do not use a tampon! I worked in the ICU and we had a girl die from TSS from using a tampon for postpartum bleeding. It’s so dangerous. U shouldn’t wear a tampon till after your first real period and after the doctor gives u the ok. It’s so so dangerous to do after having a baby.

I agree with all the other ladies. And also, I can't imagine putting anything up there after giving birth. Everything down there hurts sooooo much.

Trust me...you won’t feel like shoving a tampon up there after giving birth and no one LIKES wearing pads but they recommend you do for a reason

Thats scary !! Lol and I already gave birth a week ago but I didnt tear and nothing hurts so I wouldnt mind using a tampon lol I just hate pads 😭😭 but I guess I have to continue using them unfortunately 🙁
