So I’m 37weeks and 5 days and today I’ve been feeling really crampy in my lower abdomen and it’s painful like period cramps but not too painful and it’s giving me the feeling like I have to make a BM so I’ll try to go and there will be nothing and the cramps will stop. It lasts 30-40 seconds and the time between them is soo inconsistent it’ll be anywhere from 1 minute to 10 minutes. Is it Braxton Hicks?

I posted this on a page on Facebook too and someone told me to go in because it’s how her labor started but I don’t want to go in and it just be nothing.

I don’t know to be honest. I’ve had some painful Braxton Hicks. But some say they aren’t supposed to hurt. You could be starting very early labor

This may be stupid but....how long do contractions last for? I keep having period cramps and lower back pain but it lasts like 3 minutes each time.
Do any of u ladies get pains/cramps in ur vagina. Like a weird feeling.
So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.

I was told that it’s most likely just my cervix getting ready that I don’t need to be concerned about it until they get more consistent and if that happens or if my water breaks then to head to labor and delivery
