My friend had a question that I can not answer: if her boyfriend tested for Chlamydia and it came back positive she more then likely has it? She is 18 weeks pregnant and was wondering on how to call and ask the OB to get tested again and I honestly don’t know what to say to her

If they’ve been having unprotected sex, yeah it’s likely that she does. She needs to get tested and get rid of his ass.

My dr did a 30 week STD/STI screen.....as a follow up in case something hadn’t appeared in the first. However, that’s a long wait, so encourage her to ask the dr for it. There’s nothing to be ashamed of, as the dr deals with this type of thing daily. She may want to specify what STD/STI she wants to test for, it give them a few so they can make sure she’s safe. Baby should be her first concern, then she can address the boy and his wandering
Mostly like she does... same shut happened with me but he didn't tell me he had I found out thru my ob... I was so lucky it didn't pass thru my baby

@briannalynn547 oooh that's probably why! I wasn't high risk. I don't think he even tested me my second pregnancy because they were so close and I was only with my hubby and he was only with me.

My sister had chlamydia 2 times while being pregnant.. by the same dude 🙄 but yes that’s exactly what she should do. Just ask the doc and they’ll give her either a big/quicker round of meds or a week of not as strong. But they made my sister sick both times. Also she doesn’t have to explain anything, ask for the test, get the meds and take all of them! Screw how it happened, just gotta make sure baby’s okay

I think they test multiple times ?? Not sure though . She can just go to planned parenthood as well.

She needs to not have sex with her partner for a while until they both are treated and know it’s 100 percent safe. Nothing to be embarrassed about at all. Doctors do these tests all the time they want you and your baby safe so make sure she calls them and gets the appointment made asappp!

She needs to retest so that she doesn’t give it to the baby. Sometimes chlamydia puts Mom & baby at a higher risk for stillbirth, premature birth, and miscarriage too. So if he cheated, he put both of their health/lives in danger. Honestly in this situation, I’d just cut his penis off and call it a day.

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know

I just absolutely love some women on here! Some woman wants to write on another women's post telling her she shouldn't be having sex at all in the beginning of pregnancy. I didn't know she was her doctor. Then she wants to tell me that the first trimester is only 1-9 weeks pregnant. And she lost her baby at 4 weeks pregnant due to sex. Like sweetie that's your period starting!

My husband's sil has covid. She's obviously quarantining in her house but is still loving on her kids and husband. I'm sorry but if I had it I would lock myself in a room.
She hasn't gotten her kids tested... they're obviously doing the whole remote learning and quarantining for two weeks but she plans to send them back without testing them on the Monday after Thanksgiving 😬😱.
