Normal. It'll increase with activity and come and go over the next few weeks.

Thank you. It's lighter than spotting so I was getting concerned. Does anyone know when we can expect our first period?

Usually after 3 months for first period and just keep an eye on light bleeding cause sometimes that can mean pooling inside and then clots.

So it's ok as long as I don't get clots?

I got my first period at about 6 weeks after my first baby. I went right into it. And as long as you're not passing clots bigger than the palm of your hand.

My sister had a c section and barely bled at all. I think they just really cleaned her out?

Careful pooling and blood clots can lead to big problems

My midwife told me to massage my stomach where I feel the hardest part and massage it down to help me bleed and reduce the swelling. It helped a bunch.

I haven't had any clots just very little blood. I had a lot of activity today and it still didn't pick up.

Sydney. Did you have a c section? I'm petrified to even think about putting any pressure down there lol

Yeah if you get small clots thats fine but if you get like a clots bigger than golf balls let your doctor know. Its caused my the blood from the placenta detaching and the shrinking will sometimes leave spots that dont release and it all gathers. I passed a clot the size of a baseball with my first after 2 weeks and had light bleeding. It doesnt matter if its csection or vaginal the placenta still has to detach and the uterus still has to contract back down in size.
