I double bag them and throw them in the outside garbage.

I had a diaper genie for about a year. Now I throw them in a bag in the garage and then the big trash can at the end of the day.

@doimakeyourandiii, yeah thats what i was doing but not an option anymore :/

@amouryaya09, yeah...i wish new york worked like that but because of the rat problem my bulding decided no trash can outside and then also you have to leave the bags outside in front twice a week only

@josefa, I did like it. It really covered the smell but the top broke and stopped closing. 🤦🏽‍♂️

I use a diaper genie, but I kinda like the idea of the bag in the garage. We have a 2 story so the diaper genie definitely comes in handy

I use a diaper genie. Been using the same one almost 3 years and works perfectly. My sil puts them in her trash. Her entire apartment smells disgusting. 🙅🏻‍♀️

Just diaper genie them. They have nicer ones out that help conceal the smell better.

In your situation I would try to toss as much of it into the toilet as you can, then bag the diaper and put in the trash. It would be more inconvenient but gets rid of the majority of the smell!

When she was younger we did the diaper genie for both poop and pee. Now it’s only pee since her poop is much stronger. I just use Walmart or other store bags when she poops. I don’t have to be so careful so o throw all the wipes and the diaper in it, tie it up and chuck it outside. Then later put it in the trash can outside that gets picked up weekly.

Ugh I just went through the same thing. We were forced to bring our cans in the garage because apparently our homeowners association doesn’t allow them to be outside. Long story short, my whole downstairs REEKED because the smell of the garbage/diapers were coming through from the garage. Not to mention the hundreds of flies! I said I don’t care I’m keeping the diapers outside, so I hid a small can around the side of my house and started throwing them back out there in a bag lol. If I were you I’d either do diaper genie or bag them or keep doing what you’ve been doing but find something to put them in that has a lid so that the rain won’t affect it.
