@ttcbaby_1, are you going to be doing all natural or c section? Either way tho don’t be scared girl! It’s weird cause it is the worst pain but the best experience.. it’s crazy how it works that way. I’d do it all over again in a second

Emergency C section.. I had been in labor for 40+ hours. Contractions so close together and so strong they basically strung together. After 5 full min of screaming and cussing out my nurses just trying to help (I felt awful) I was basically told I’m getting an epidural, which I was like hell yes please! Contractions kept going, water broke and baby was right down there.. my body basically refused to dilate anymore. Both mine and my sons hearts started to fail so I was wheeled back to the OR. They gave me a spinal block made out of fentanyl.. I didn’t feel much of anything but tugging and pulling after they cut me open. Baby Boy was out 10 min later 💙 Recovery sucked ass, hurt so incredibly bad to move or bend or do anything. But they have you on pain control for awhile so it helped. The first shower and first meal after my c section was life! I was starving lol. All in all the actual surgery was good and fine, the aftermath was the worst part

@mamaofzuri, i kept going to poop and nothing would come out 😂😂😂 i labored so fast though that it didn’t matter, i could have pushed him out on the toilet 😂

i had 4th degree tears! and diagnosed with preeclampsia the day i went into Labor and delivery . went in aat 8cm and labored for 6 hours with pain meds/epidural, they had to break my water, i pushed for 30 minutes! i had a clot the size of a mango come out the next day. i had to sit on a donut for 2 weeks. i definitely took home a prescription for pain. it was more of a uncomfortable, pulling sensation while i was going through the healing process.

I wanted so bad to do all natural ..but come that day i was going for my goal.. But i wasnt dilating fast enough the gave me some medicine to make my contractions come faster and stronger... I was no longer about to take the pain even while on pain medication..that after hours of crying i gave in and got an epidural 2am the next day and i felt relieved for awhile but i still wasnt not dilating i wouldn't go past 5cm.. Baby just wouldn't come down i caught an infection an fever and even tho i was numb since the baby was putting pressure i still felt pain and was crying ...n eventually was taken in for an emergency C-Section... I was in active labor for 31hrs

For me it felt like I was having period cramps but their where so bad they lasted 10 minutes when I got to 5cm I was yelling for my epidural and it goes on u back but well here in Texas they put it on ur back but leave a tube in their doesnt hurt at all and it sends the epidural down ur back but it works right away

@ttcbaby_1, for me it was all in my back. It felt like i had to poop really bad. Like poop cramps times ten lol

@ttcbaby_1 you really can't prepare yourself for labor honestly every labor is different you cpupd have an easy quick one a long and hard one or have complications or no complications you never know what to expect

@ttcbaby_1 epideral is life I'm a baby when it comes to contractions they fucking hurt

I labored for 4 hours and pushed him out in 20 minutes all natural. It hurt, but not unbearable.

I've had both good experiences no problems

Contractions where horrible I lasted up to 5cm before getting the epidural and I sadly couldn't make my body have contractions so I had an iv causing them for me and since they couldn't detect my contractions by normal means I had to be inserted a device between my baby and my uterus so they can monitor but I can honestly say it was amazing because once i asked for epidural I couldn't feel pain and it was easier for me to dilate if I would have waited 2 minutes more for my epidural I would have had a emergency c section because my water had broken that's how I started labor and I didnt have enough water anymore for my daughter once the epidural was in and I was ready to give birth it was amazing it didnt hurt but u can still feel how the baby is coming out and when it comes out and u hear them cry u can only cry of happiness because u brought that little beautiful baby to this world
