You definitely are. 3 (36 weeks) more weeks and you are 9 months! My OB goes by this chart. :)

You’re in your eighth month yes but it depends how you look at it. You wouldn’t call a 5 week old baby 2 months old just because they’re IN their second month of life. So yes you’re in your 8th month but you’ve only completed 7 months

I go by this chart, for the reason that @k_nc said. It's a tricky one to explain.

^^ exactly what they said! But in pregnancy most people would just say ‘8 months pregnant’ even if you’re only in it and you’ve only completed 7 ☺️

(assuming you are exactly 33 weeks today)You're 7.59 months pregnant to be technical, and once you round it off 8 months 😋

I go by the 4 week rule except the last month of each trimester.

@mokimbo, yea that chart is kinda hard to understand

@katt82 well if you think about it, it doesn't make sense to say you're 1 month pregnant at 1 week. Or at 2 or 3. Youre not 1 month until the month has actually passed. When you have your baby, you won't say they are 1 month when they are born. You'll say they are 1 month once the 30/31 days have passed. This chart is based on that. It's just 2 different ways of breaking it down. I personally don't bother with the months, I just go by weeks because it's less confusing lol

@mama.kay, so 28 weeks is 6 months??
