Pretty much given an ultimatum for today either go with my husband and son to my husbands cousins wedding or going out to breakfast and spend the day with his dad. I really don't want to do either. Long story short I had a miscarriage almost 2 weeks ago and my husband and I are not on the same page moving forward. So I've been very down and emotionally shut down for awhile. I don't want to go to the wedding and have his family bring it up, say they are sorry and that it was probably for the best ECT I just don't want to hear it its just going to make me feel worse. I don't want to spend the day with his dad because he bugs me sometimes and he just wants to hang out with me to try and talk about how I've been acting and how I should being acting and side with my husbands way of thinking. I don't want to talk about it with him either. So which one of two would you pick?

I’d tell him I was staying home and he could go where he feels like going.

4 miscarriages and no baby. I actually had a friend that got her jollies by rubbing her pregnancies in my face. My mother in law rubbed my hubby cousin pregnancy with twins in my face. Than tell me i am lucky i wont have a hospital bill from having a baby. I am like excuse me i already have a big bill from my 4 miscarriages.

Neither. I’d go get a mani and a pedi and binge on girly movies with popcorn and m&ms

@laniejay, I agree with Lanie. Your husband doesn’t get to give you your only choices nor does he get to tell you how to grieve. I’d stay home.

@laniejay @oddie @spookylyn it was mainly his dad saying if I didn't go to the wedding I had to go out to breakfast with him. My husband told me I could stay home if I wanted but I don't want my son to be with his family all day pretending like they have been there for him anf make an effort to see him. I ended up getting ready for the wedding and I instantly regret it. They are having it outside somewhere and the heat gets to 100+ up here. Plus my husband's being a jerk because I didn't have anything to wear and it took me a little longer to get ready and he wanted to go to his moms 2 hours before the wedding to have our son anr her bond so he won't cry with her at the wedding. So now he's mad.

@viktoria45 that's awful I cant imagine the pain you must have went through and I know mine was so painful to me. People that say things like that or rub pregnancies in someone's face that lost babies are horrible people.

You grieve how you choose!
When I had my miscarriage, my family wanted to call and come visit. I just wanted to be alone in the dark. And that’s what I did. I sat in a hot bath, lit some candles and prayed. Shut my eyes and shut off the world. I didn’t want to talk about what I lost. I wanted to feel it all on my own. I didn’t want to try to make other people feel better about how they were feeling.
My husband seemed ready to move on during the drive home. He tried to talk to me and I finally had to tell him “I just need it to be quiet right now”. And he left me alone, and i mourned my little angel and was able to keep going.
Dont feel bad for not wanting to just move on. Men have no idea how it feels to instantly become a mom as soon as you see that first positive.
