I find it rather annoying when people blatantly ignore me saying DONT KISS MY BABY, and continue to test boundaries each time they see us. My FIL kissed my little girl twice on the nose and the cheek very close to her lips tonight. I mean really, it had to be her face? Another thing, when did your baby start staying the night off anywhere? My son was well over a year old and it’s rare that he stays the night with anyone. My in laws keep asking for my 8 week old baby(who is EBF) to spend the night... NO NO NO. I appreciate that they want me to be able to rest but I am her mother and this is my job, I couldn’t sleep without her here with me anyway. My anxiety would be through the roof!
Ha! No. The only time my son stays the night with his grandparents is if I am there and he isn’t allowed to sleep with them he sleeps with me I let them spend time with him for an hour or two before it’s his bedtime, he definitely won’t be staying the night with anyone by himself for a long time
@babyjjsmommy, yes I try to explain that to them because they’re stuck in old school ways... my MIL try’s to talk to me like I’m a teen mom or something, I honestly just stare at her and say nothing because if I say something it won’t be nice lol
@babyjjsmommy, my mom wants to give my son regular foods and says she’s not ganna listen when I’m not around. I tell her no because he JUST got his teeth and hasn’t quite gotten the hang of chewing yet. We tested the waters with baby snacks and he started gagging on it so bad that he would throw up his milk. But nooooo cause I have no idea what I’m doing and am holding him back😡🙄
@kelley.blue, @thequeen, @moya12814, @raquely, @bella4mommy, glad I’m not the only one who feels so strongly about it. I just feel disrespected as a mother a lot of the time. I mean I get that our parents have raised kids before but a lot has changed since then and they also need to understand that we are different people so we do things differently.
I'm all the with you on this don't let nobody put there lips on your baby an mos definitely a NO NO bout keeping your baby an they should respect you an what you say your baby to young to go stay an they know that an they shouldn't be asking do what you gotta do dear to protect your baby ain't nobody gonna see about your baby like you
I won’t allow it until he’s old enough to clearly speak to me. That way he can let me know if there are ever any issues to worry about.
My son is almost 8 months and hasn’t stayed the night anywhere without at leas me or my husband there. Nope nope nope.
Okaaay! I'm tired as hell right now lol... But your baby is brand new so the most I'd be doing is a couple of hours... That's for an appt only lol!
@kelley.blue, lol will do 😂If mine were as old as yours are I’d have no problem. My son has stayed with them before and done really well!
I get it... But hey tell them that I have two of them that they can get until you're ready to send your baby lol!
@mamauv, I agree. Like I said, my FIL tests boundaries and doesn’t respect what I ask, so hed be the one to have my baby in bed with them and roll over on her. I mean I could request that she sleep in a designated place but lets be real, he’s the type of person to do whatever he wants. Like I wouldn’t even consider her staying the night for a very long time. Like you said she’ll be walking and talking.
If my baby cant speak to me yet it shouldnt be staying over anywhere without me. I do not trust people
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
so my mom was telling me I should give my son baby cereal at night because at night is when he wants to eat the most. I haven't done it yet but who thinks its okay I was thinking doing it when he's two months!??
What would you do? - baby shower
SO my mom has been very negative about the baby my entire pregnancy. Especially in the beginning, she said the most HORRIBLE things about me, my DH and my unborn baby. Like that I was making a big mistake, that I was making her 2015 the worst year ever... etc etc. Even when she would do nice things she made me feel like I was a HUGE inconvenience and a burden to her. She told me to definitely NOT expect a shower or anything like that from her. Fine, whatever...
Woke up outta my sleep in crazy pain and to my 4 year old all under me and to my husband saying is Loyal here yet I'm getting nervous cause that man have always been head on to when his kids coming out an playing the game and guess what that's what's going on now I'm ready for baby boy but then again I am not. My 4 year old is literally walking every where I walk talking about I'ma stay with you mama even when I go to the br I'm starting to feel sick to my stomach......

Today we had to say goodbye and tomorrow ill have you home with us again. I love you, my baby. You're absolutely perfect. They let me hold him till I was ready. I would have stayed the night but my mom told me to kiss him and love him and walk out and now he is my angel baby.
@babyjjsmommy... I typically agree! I'm raising my child the way that I feel is best!
